📌 La Grotta Bar, open from 11am! If you’re staying in Corfu Town or smaller towns you’ll most likely have to get the A9 from Corfu Town to Paleokastritsa. You can either hop on from the Green Bus terminal or aling the way. It’s around 30 minutes drive depending on traffic! Tell the bus driver you’re getting off at La grotta to avoid the 20 minute walk from the last stop. If you’re driving there’s...

Reviews Summary

La Grotta Bar is celebrated for its stunning natural beauty, offering a unique cliffside experience with crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and diving. While the views and adventurous activities are highly praised, some visitors note concerns regarding the cleanliness of the restrooms and the elevated prices, though many still find the overall experience well worth it.

"A really cool place built into the rock, with steps leading down. The staff are super friendly. Sunbeds are better to book ahead, but you can always grab a spot at the bar. Smoothies are unusual and tasty, and the burgers are great. There’s a rock you can jump from, and the seabed is beautiful – definitely bring a mask. We’ve already been a few times and keep coming back."

Nadia Hope

"Amazing place with a breathtaking view!
Friendly stuff and a great manager!
The food is delicious and the bar is top!
You have direct access to the sea.
It is rocky but it is worth.
We recommend to add more Greek food in the menu."

Plamena Terzieva

"We only went for a drink in the evening, around 6 pm. Such a cool place with a gorgeous view!

The bar is located between the cliffs, has got plenty of space, rocky access to the beach - so you can easily go for a swim and have a drink after.

The staff was very friendly and funny. Very engaging. Such a nice atmosphere."

3 Days In Corfu Itinerary: Where To Go In Corfu By Car

Finish off the second of your three days in Corfu with a visit to La Grotta, a seaside bar that’s famous for having a diving board where you can leap into the ocean. For the more adventurous, we also saw people clambering over the nearby cliff face and throwing themselves off that into the sea when we visited. Even if you don’t dare to jump in yourself, there’s still plenty of entertainment to be had watching other people dive – and sometimes bellyflop – into the water while you sit back and sip your pina colada or margarita.

Besides basking in its epic scenery and views, you can go swimming, snorkeling and cliff diving here or enjoy a delicious meal or drink at its famous bar. In truth, it is more of a rocky bay than a beach as lots of large boulders and a few wooden platforms for sunbathing lie between its two towering cliffs.
