Cava Alta is a nice restaurant, just meters up from the central village square, with a great veranda and nice views to the South. The menus are both traditional and innovative and prices are reasonable. Very easy access, by foot.

Cava Alta is for good reason one of my favorite restaurants in Pyrgos. It is also located right next to the castle of Pyrgos on the hill, so the view over the island is amazing. The restaurant is small and extremely charming.

We ate a meal on a beautiful terrace at a restaurant called Cava Alta, especially for the view and the special risotto I saw on their menu. A good decision, in terms of dishes and a very nice atmosphere.
