"Located in the hills with beautifull view all around the terrace.
We had some starters and two mains which were all great and full of flavour! The pork was very soft and the rabbit was uniquely flavoured with anise (or something that tastes like anise).
We also very much liked how calm it was and away from the touristy cities. We came around 19:30 when the restaurant was practically empty but about an hour later it started to fill up."

"Lovely restaurant with typical traditional dishes. The staff offered a fantastic service and we had a nice chat with Memos. Most of the vegetables are grown there on their property! All of our dishes were fresh and really delicious. The atmosphere surrounded by local people was varied compared to other touristic restaurants. Definitely worth the visit!"

The All in One Booking Channel of Zakynthos
OUR “DIACHRONIKO”, with what our land produces, here in the village of Skoulikado, in the heart of the Zakynthian countryside. We begin working “abonora” (that is, from early on, in our island’s dialect) to fill our kitchen with all kinds of fresh ingredients of our own production, from local meat and vegetables to Zakynthian oil and wine. At our tables you will not find experimentations, only authentic, traditionally cooked or grilled specialties from the very history of Zakynthos.

Tired after a day of visiting beaches and swimming laps in the pool, we were looking for a quick dinner not too far from our villa. Fortunately, the owner of the villa where we are staying (Villa Fioroula) came up with the ultimate tip: Taverne Diachroniko in the nearby village of Xavi. Don’t expect fancy tables or other fuss here, you’re sitting here among the locals in a simple tavern.
