At one of the best seafront locations on the island, with Little Venice on one side and the windmills on the other, farm-to-table Mediterranean cuisine is the scene-stealer. The menu is plentiful, with diverse choices, but the philosophy is simple—the best organic ingredients from Greek producers cooked simply and with respect. Greek craft beers are well represented as are local wines on the drinks list.

When in Greece, I prefer to indulge in local specialties, so here’s what I’ve spotted: Nice n’ Easy in Chora (amazing Mediterranean food with locally-sourced organic ingredients – just have a look at this); Spilia in Agia Anna for seafood right by the sea (beware of the arrogant waiters though!); dinner and cocktails at my favoutire beach bar Alemagou; Liasti in Lia beach for simple but excellently cooked Greek food and Kiki’s at Agios Sostis. The latter is rather difficult to find as there’s no sign, phone or website and no reservations are taken. Luckily, there are very few many buildings around, so try to locate the tree-shaded terrace overlooking the beach and make sure to arrive promptly (before 13:00 or after 16:00) to avoid queuing.

From there, it’s an easy walk to dinner, whether you want to go gluten-free on the seafront at Nice n Easy (open through early November), dance on tables at Sea Satin Market or follow the locals to what might just be the island’s best meatballs at To Maereio (open year-round). Part of the reason that the walk is just so pleasant is that the crush of tourists, both those staying on the island and those disgorged into town from cruise ships stopping in the harbor, decreases dramatically come September. You’ll no longer have to dodge the same people you might have bumped into at the Whole Foods at home as you wander the twisting alleys of Mykonos Town (also called Chora).

In the Mykonos location you will find the restaurant beginning service in the morning hours until after midnight!

Nice n Easy’s outdoor dining area is set on one of the most scenic dining spots with a combination of sea views, the iconic Mykonian windmills and Little Venice views. Another photogenic bar/restaurant in Little Venice is the Nice n Easy. If you’re hoping to get a photo sat next to the water then you will need to reserve a table at least a day in advance, or come out of meal times for a drink. Best time to go: I went at 6pm just for a drink, we didn’t reserve a table however we were fortunate enough to get a sea-side table.

I had never heard of it before visiting Mykonos, but we asked our waiter at Nice n Easy about the best beach clubs and he recommended Alemagou. It is pretty low key at least while we were there...it was the beginning of the season so there wasn't much of a party going on. The beach is small but BEAUTIFUL and the water is crystal clear!

Speaking of Little Venice, this restaurant is the first one you will come upon on the coast of Little Venice. They have these tables set up right by the water and if nobody is currently sitting there they usually don’t mind you snapping a quick photo. We also ate here but under the nice shaded area (as you can see pictured below).

Located on the Alefkandra Square in Chora, Nice n Easy has quickly become one of the more popular restaurants on the island. The ambiance is lovely, and you’re seated right next to the water on a paved street with wooden chairs and tables. The menu is strictly Mediterranean cuisine, which makes it perfect for brunch.

The first restaurant that caught our eye on our first visit to Mykonos was Nice n Easy. It has a very typical Mykonos architecture and is located along the small beach of the old port. For anyone who thinks they’re too old to be out until sunrise, well this is Mykonos, and when you’re not finishing dinner until midnight you’ll be surprised at just how much easier it is to stay up till dawn. So spend the rest of the night (morning) barhopping your way through Little Venice.

Nice & Easy – fabulous restaurant with a waterfront view in Mykonos town. The vibe feels a bit more elevated and less touristy than many of the other spots around, and the food/cocktails are delicious. Makes for a super romantic meal if you’re traveling with a significant other.
