"Delicious! I had a fantastic dinner experience here, with great service and incredibly tasty food.
The fried zucchini was so good, fresh with a lovely and crispy light batter. The moussaka was probably one of the best I ever had with the eggplant/aubergine cooked to perfection with a rich sauce. I am almost salivating thinking about both of these dishes as I write this review! We also ordered some grilled meat dishes which were very tasty and the chips (fries) were fantastic. Another highlight is the delicious and also free dessert they offer!
The restaurant was pretty busy but we managed to get a table outside with heaters, and the service was efficient. Waiters were friendly but also quick.
Overall I would wholeheartedly recommend a meal here, delicious fresh food and fast but friendly service."

"Visiting Thessaloniki from St. Louis, Missouri and loved dinner here! Popular spot with a lively atmosphere and live Greek music. We loved the Santorini salad, roasted marinated veggie tower, fava bean purée, grilled squid, moussaka, and thick-cut fries. Portions are sizable and everything so fresh and absolutely delicious. Our waiter could’ve had a kinder attitude towards non-Greeks though (he was blunt and borderline rude). I’d return for the food!"

"We loved Rouga so much that we went twice during our stay in Thessaloniki! As a Greek, I really appreciated the authentic flavors, the top-quality ingredients, and the huge portions. There’s truly something for everyone on the menu, and their drink selection is excellent as well. Sitting outside is a lovely experience, and there are plenty of staff making sure you’re well looked after. Prices are very reasonable, and the complimentary dessert they bring at the end is absolutely delicious. Definitely a must-visit when in Thessaloniki!"
