"This is the best restaurant in Santa Marta and possibly all of Columbia! The meals are unique and so good!! Our waiter,Miguel, was super nice! And I even got a chance to meet the owner/chef Fabian. His artwork is displayed all throughout the restaurant and represent beautifully the Colombian culture. They also have live music with a really good and friendly guitar player, whom I chatted with briefly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Santa Marta area."

"wow. out of every restaurant we've visited in Colombia, Guasimo stood out as the best we've had. our group was treated to a private-room dinner, gorgeously decorated with an equally beautiful story behind it. similarly, each dish had a story, meaning, and intention behind it which our server journeyed us through. an experience like this is one-of-a-kind. not to mention how every single bite was a 10/10. fresh, delicious, and unique. we all thought about this dinner for the rest of our trip. i wish i took more pictures of the stunning art and ambiance. we were too in the moment throughout this dinner. highly, highly recommend as a must when in Santa Marta!"

Our favorite dining experience on our last trip was Guasimo, where we had a fabulous lunch (the langostinos negros were to die for!). We had a great anniversary dinner at BK, worth a visit for its panoramic views of El Rodadero beach (that’s where we took the photo above). Other good bets are Restaurante LamArt, specializing in locally inspired seafood; Serena Tropical Bistro on the waterfront; La Panetteria for excellent cappuccinos and breakfast; and Gnam for gelato (a must!).
