What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Dobrumba is lauded for its exceptional Middle Eastern and Mediterranean fusion cuisine, with many highlighting the flavorful mezze and unique dishes. While the food garners high praise, some diners have noted inconsistencies in service and ambiance, with occasional complaints about attentiveness and seating arrangements. Despite minor criticisms, it remains a popular spot for its vibrant atmosphere and delicious, shareable plates.
"Was not my first visit in the venue.
Everything was just great, food delivery to the table wasn’t delayed at all, everything was on time. So overall experience is exceptional!
The place has very comfy atmosphere. Price wise is also acceptable, got 3 dishes and was quite full!
Thanks a lot!"

"We stumbled upon Dobrumbá by chance — the exterior caught our eye and we decided to give it a try. Luckily we got a table without a reservation, but I’d recommend booking ahead since it gets busy.
The vibe inside is relaxed but beautifully designed, with a cozy, stylish feel. We started with vermouth, which was honestly one of the best I’ve had — super smooth and flavorful.
The food is all about sharing: small plates with a delicious fusion of Middle Eastern and European influences. We were three people and ordered two tapas each, but in hindsight, four total plus dessert would’ve been more than enough. The homemade cheese and fava were the highlights for us — fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying — but everything we tried was really good.
Service was friendly and the food came out quickly. All in all, a great find — perfect for a casual but tasty dinner in Budapest."

"I cannot explain to you how amazing this little restaurant is. I have visited twice in my short visit to Budapest and will return when I visit again.
The flavours are sensational, every mouthful is heaven. If they had a recipe book I would buy it in a heartbeat.
The food is both delicate and punchy. The spicing is perfectly balanced. This is as damn close to as perfect meal I have ever had.
With huge thanks to the team in the kitchen and the front of house staff who grace your food with comfortable and effortless service."
