"My significant other and I had the pleasure of dining at Meatology Budapest twice during our trip, and we were thoroughly impressed both times! The food here is absolutely delicious. So far, we’ve tried the duck, pork knuckles, goose, and the salad with sweet potato fries. Personally, the duck was my favorite—it was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.

I do want to note that the food takes a bit of time to come out, so it’s worth asking your server for an estimated wait time. The staff is upfront about it, as they mentioned during our first visit that it would take a while, which we appreciated.

Our second visit didn’t go as smoothly due to a mix-up where our food was served to the wrong table by a new server. That table unfortunately caused a scene, and we ended up waiting for our meals to be recooked. However, the staff handled the situation gracefully—the manager and team sincerely apologized, comped our beverages, and even gave us a discount. Mistakes happen, and their effort to make it right showed their commitment to excellent service.

Despite the hiccup, we still returned because the food is just that good! If you’re in Budapest, this is a must-visit spot. The quality of the dishes and the warm hospitality make it worth every minute. Highly recommend!

"Everything is great. And I mean everything!

Staff. They are friendly and pleasant. In addition, their staff offers informative and comprehensive explanation of their dishes and offerings. I’m impressed how they are so engaged with their customers.

Dishes. We ordered their sausage and pork dishes. It was well made. Delicious, scrumptious and tasty. It’s as if they were made from heaven that all it brought was goodness all the way.

Service and customer interaction was on point. They will make sure you are going to leave happy.

Prices. Reasonable to high although this may be the case, it is worth it. Worth every penny.

I highly recommend this and would be a repeat customer whenever I visit Budapest. Please give this a try. You won’t regret it."

"A fantastic little place with some fabulous food. Loads of options for steak and burgers but the pork knuckle and the venison with capers are the ones to go for. Very reasonable prices and plenty of drinks options, only down side is it's a tad on the small side so not loads of seating."
