It showcases the old school fine dine restaurants with table cloth running from end to the other, rustic vibe, wooden chairs and tables and orange lighting.

Also, ensure that you try out local cuisine at restaurants such as Tiger Tiger, Coorg Cuisine, Raintree Restaurant, Taste of Coorg, Barbeque Bay Restaurant, and Beans N Brews during your visit. In case a medical emergency pops up, rush to Vivus Hospital or Rajarajeshwari Hospital.

Not sure about breakfast joints, but for authentic Coorgi non-veg items, Coorg Cuisine restaurant (a non-descript joint on the 1st floor of a building opp the Post office) is excellent. Not a very fancy place and service can be quite slow at times - but the food is really good.

If you are looking for an incredible culinary experience, pop into Coorg Cuisine in Madikeri, opposite the bus stop, and order their nooputtu and pandi curry (Kodava pork curry). Sip on passion fruit juice while you wait, and finish off your meal with beetroot halwa.

The travel enthusiast friend of mine , treated me at The Coorg Cuisine for dinner. As the name suggests , it was a speciality restaurant for Coorg Delicacy, for which my tastebuds would speak otherwise (Confession of a vegetarian).
