Reviews Summary
The Spice Route offers a visually stunning experience with its opulent decor and intricate murals, transporting diners along the spice route. While the ambiance and service are consistently praised, the food quality can be inconsistent, with some dishes being spectacular and others falling short, leading to occasional disappointment given the high price point.
"Wonderful food, magical ambience, and an experience well worth the splurge. The Spice Route at The Imperial is unforgettable."

"A sheer extravagance for senses and food.
We went there for birthday celebration. The first thing you notice as you enter the imperial is sheer opulence and sense of luxury.
The resturant is one of many inside the hotel offering cuisine across the world. The resturant is themed asian history with walls depicting painting from central asia.
Food menu is well curated with something for everyone. We ordered chicken puffs and kerala side prawans as appetizers. The puffs were just average however prawns were amazing.
Next on table was the roasted duck leg, the meat was well cooked and glazed however the salad serverd with it was too salty which spoilt the taste, chicken noodles were amazing and must try.
The staff was kind enough to serve us with mango chia pudding when we complained about the duck dish.
Over all visit here for sheer sense of royalty and luxury, however food can be a hit and miss."

"Embarrassingly terrible food. I spent 8K for our dinner and the two curries we ordered came with the same gravies, but just different meats. I say it’s embarrassing because the interior is gorgeous and service is good as well, but the main point is to have good food. It was flavorless. I’d even go to the lengths of saying it’s dishonest to serve to food like this at such high prices."
