What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Fisherman's Wharf in Panjim garners praise for its warm ambiance, vibrant live music, and exceptionally friendly staff, making for a delightful dining experience. While many rave about the flavorful Goan specialties and seafood, a few reviews mention disappointment with the food quality and price, suggesting a mixed culinary reception. Overall, it's a popular spot for its lively atmosphere and attentive service, though diners are advised to choose wisely from the extensive menu.
"Had a lovely dining experience at Fisherman’s Wharf, Panjim once again! The ambiance is warm, vibrant, and truly captures the Goan spirit — perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner with family and friends.
We tried the calamari and vindaloo, both of which were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The spices were just right, and the portions generous. On our last visit, we had absolutely loved their Tiramisu, which sadly seems to have been discontinued — hope they bring it back soon!
A special mention to Anchal, who served us with a bright smile and ensured we were comfortable throughout. Her service added to the overall great experience.
Fisherman’s Wharf continues to be a go-to spot in Panjim for great food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back!"

"We had a delightful dining experience at The Fisherman’s Wharf in Panjim. The dishes we tried included Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice, Hakka Noodles, Ghee Chicken Roast, and Prawn Goan Chilli Fry, accompanied by a cocktail and mocktail. Every item was flavorful and well-prepared, showcasing a nice balance of spice and authenticity.
The Ghee Chicken Roast stood out with its rich, aromatic taste, while the Prawn Goan Chilli Fry delivered a satisfying coastal kick. The Chinese-style dishes—Schezwan Fried Rice and Hakka Noodles—were also impressive, with generous portions and just the right amount of heat.
Special thanks to Alok, who was very helpful in guiding us through the menu and ensured everything was served promptly and with a smile. His attentive service added to the overall positive experience.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a mix of Goan and Indo-Chinese flavors with great hospitality."

The live music added so much energy to the evening and created a lively atmosphere. Service was quick and attentive, and the sheesha was really good too. With such a great ambiance and overall experience, it’s definitely a place I’d love to visit again!"
