The Arches Cafe & Bakery: If you & bae are planning to spend some quality time in the most romantic place in Rishikesh, well… we have got a collection for you. Now, it doesn’t matter if it’s your first date or the 50th. But if you guys are happy in each other’s company & take joy in discovering new restaurants and cafes with amazing food, views & service, especially the ones with romantic settings, then you have landed in the right place!

The Arches is one of the more sophisticated and stylish cafes in Rishikesh, and for that reason, it comes with an ever-so-slightly higher price tag (but certainly not breaking the bank by any means). If you’re craving Western food, and a big old slice of cheesecake, this is THE PLACE to come. Whilst I was here, I had the spicy arancini balls, and I must say they were probably some of the best arancini I have had in a long time!

This slightly fancier and stylish restaurant is located in the lower part of Tapovan and is part of a hotel. The menu is varied: here you can find everything from vegan pancakes, pasta, sushi and curries to vegan cheesecake. The prices are a bit higher than in other restaurants, but the quality is really good and you sit in a relaxed atmosphere with air conditioning or on a balcony with a direct view of the Ganges.

If you’re looking for a modern, classic-themed café in Rishikesh while enjoying some Western comfort food, The Arches Café & Bakery is the place to try. On my visit, I was immediately struck by the stylish interior that blends sophistication with the calm, spiritual vibes of Rishikesh. Despite the slightly higher prices, it’s definitely worth it for the quality and atmosphere.

Set right next to the old Laxman Jhula, The Arches Cafe is one of the best café in Rishikesh for those seeking an upscale and peaceful setting. With sleek mid-century decor, green arches, and lots of indoor plants, it feels like a cafe you’d find in a metro city. It’s more upscale but still relaxed, with balcony views of the Ganga and the Triyambakeshwar Temple.

The Arches is rated as one of the finest vegan restaurants in the yoga capital of India. The place was revamped by a Los Angeles-based architect in 2021 with stylish, modern interiors. They have an extensive menu for people with vegan food preferences.

The Arches – This is another vegan restaurant that offers gluten-free and wheat-free items as well. Moreover, 80% of the food at this restaurant is fat-free. So, that is an added bonus for the yogis.
