Many reviewers highlight the warm, family-like atmosphere and the unique experience of learning to cook traditional dishes. While the food is consistently praised, be prepared for a wait as everything is cooked fresh to order, and some find the roadside seating a bit noisy.
"Good place to try local cuisine at good prices! We were again to try the traditional chicken betutu (you have to make a reservation at least one day before) and it was amazing. If you are some days in amed, you should try it!! Amazing! Hope I will have the recipe 🤤💗 Besides, they invite to the dessert in both occasions."

"Just stopped by random on our walk back to stay and it was a wonderful experience. Fantastic Indonesian food menu at an affordable price. Everything is cooked fresh after the order is placed and that's why so many reviews complaining about the wait time. Come prepared to wait with a drink while your food is prepared from scratch. It's a family run restaurant and gives you a homely feel about the cuisine. Definitely a must try while at Amed.
Loved the food and service. We wish we had a bit more time to chat to our favourite auntie 😉"
