"Warung Bu Imas is a really popular spot in Bandung, so we decided to check it out. We arrived around 11 AM, which was a good call because it wasn't packed yet. The place has a lively, casual vibe, and it’s pretty cool seeing all the different dishes laid out. We grabbed a few things that looked good to try out.
We ordered the Ayam Bakar, Sayur Asem, and Tahu Goreng. Honestly, for how famous and busy this place gets, I felt the food was just okay. The Ayam Bakar tasted like a pretty standard grilled chicken you could find anywhere else—nothing that made it stand out. The sambal was spicy, but it didn't have any unique flavor that made it special.
The Sayur Asem was also a bit of a letdown for me. It wasn't very sour anymore and actually tasted a little sweet, which was a bit strange for a dish that's supposed to be tangy. While the food wasn't bad, I don't know if I'd say it's worth the potential long wait and the slightly higher-than-average prices. It was a decent meal, but not exactly what I was hoping for."
