Set in a 15 year old teak joglo, Biku isn’t your average café. It’s a restaurant and a tea room and a bookstore and a homewares store and a place to get your tarot cards read. The menu is extensive and varied but the highlight is the high teas and afternoon teas.

I love Biku because of the added quirk, the styling and the wall hangings that give this place such a good vibe!. It is usually fairly quiet during the days and the service is super fast!. The tables are nice and big for working and the food is so delicious.

Just like adults, children can also enjoy tea in this place. High tea packages for children are served with a three-tiered tray too, just like for adults. The difference is, children will get a mini-version snack with a delicious cake plus a lot of snacks.

In between the fun and action, we’d recommend fuelling up at Biku, a beautiful bookstore-cum-restaurant. They offer amazing afternoon teas and high teas, including a kids high tea menu complete with fruit tea, finger sandwiches and mini cupcakes.
