What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Warung Bejana Uluwatu offers a convenient location near the temple and a pleasant atmosphere, with some reviewers praising the ambiance and friendly staff. However, many diners have expressed disappointment with the food quality, citing issues like cold dishes, dry meats, and overly salty or bland flavors. Service can also be slow, and prices are considered high by some for the overall experience.
"I had lunch here with my wife, and we chose local foods. Taste-wise, they were a bit on the salty and spicy side, but the quality of the meat was good. I had chicken and seafood; the chicken was lean, and the seafood was really fresh. They prepared our food really fast. The table had a nice view of the street, and even though it was peak season, it was pretty quiet. The restaurant is very close to Uluwatu Temple."

"Convenient location, alright ambience, average service, terrible food.
We had high hopes from this place as it's very conveniently located closest to Uluwatu temple entrance. It has its private parking which is good.
We went there for dinner today and ordered Ayum Betutu and Nasi Goreng Sultan Chicken for mains.
Ayum Betutu - The chicken wasn't that good as it didn't feel very fresh. Curry and sambhal felt just average as well.
Nasi Goreng Sultan - well, it was a badly prepared dish. The chicken in the satay was fibrous and hard as a rock. Definitely not the best Nasi Goreng I have come across.
Drinks - we got some beers and a juice (Uluwatu Sunset), which had strawberry, mango, orange juices with yogurt. It was very refreshing and probably the only good item we came across during our visit.
Service - No one was coming to take the order for food as we kept on waiting for around 10-15 mins. Finally, I had to get up and call a waiter. And the restaurant was not crowded as well.
Price - it's a bit on the higher side.
Not recommended."

"Waited for a very long time, and the food was quite disappointing. Prices were on the higher side, and many dishes were served cold. (Fries, satay, tom yum soup …)
The salad was the only thing that tasted good. The restroom was extremely dirty, and we had to remind the staff to clean it.
There were a lot of bees around the area.
Overall, definitely not recommended."
