"Brie: A Beautiful and Vibrant Spot for Fresh, Modern Cheeses
We made Brie our first stop after landing, excited to dive into their offering of freshly made cheeses served with a modern, Instagrammable twist. The space is beautiful—as you enter, you can see the open kitchen where dishes and fresh cheeses are prepared right in front of you, adding an immediate sense of freshness and authenticity.
We were seated on the second floor, where a live DJ was playing, giving the already stylish venue an extra energetic and trendy vibe, enhanced by the elegant decor and soft lighting.
We started with their fresh burrata with anchovies and tomato granita. The dish was visually stunning, and the freshness of the ingredients came through with each bite. However, we found the burrata slightly lacking in flavor, particularly missing a touch of salt that could have elevated the dish.
The same comment applies to the cheese platter—while we enjoyed a wide selection of cheeses, from brie, feta, and parmesan to mini mozzarellas, each showcasing great texture and profile, they too could have benefited from a bit more seasoning to bring out their full potential.
The standout dish of the evening was the eggplant with feta and hummus, which was absolutely delicious—rich, balanced, and full of flavor.
We ended the meal with their Neapolitan pastry, which was very flaky, light, and filled with custard. While we would have loved a bit more custard for a creamier bite, it was still a satisfying end to the meal.
Overall, Brie offers a visually stunning, vibrant dining experience with high-quality ingredients and a great atmosphere. With just a bit more attention to seasoning, it could become truly exceptional."

The food was comforting and satisfying. I guess that’s inherent to cheese and carbs but nonetheless it is idea for a meal before a nap in Ubud. The cheeses were smooth/ young delicious cheeses.
