Milk & Madu is a very popular cafe chain in Bali that has three outposts; two in Canggu and one in Ubud. Arched ceilings and large windows with black metal frames, accented by Millenial Pink murals make Milk & Madu look like a cafe that was plucked straight out of Dumbo in Brooklyn and plopped into Bali. At Milk & Madu you can find pretty good Western food, they have salads, pizzas, burgers, wraps, and poke bowls at reasonable prices, as well as a whole brunch menu.

By very popular demand, everyone’s fave Canggu cafe found a second home in the heart of Ubud. This much loved Canggu café has made a second home in Ubud, bringing with it all of our fave Milk & Madu fare. Come for the skillet eggs, stick around for the Madu Poke Bowl. It’s a dreamy mix of seasonal avocado, spring onion, tempura ginger, coriander, edamame, nori, toasted sesame, with sushi rice and a choice of tuna sashimi, teriyaki chicken or golden tofu – and of course, that tasty ponzu dressing drizzled all over.

Boasting good vibes, good food, and good service, Milk & Madu checks all the boxes of a highly raved Bali cafe. After hearing good things about their pizza, I decided to give the Truffle Mushroom Cacio El Pepe (IDR180K/~S$16.24) a try.

Milk & Madu has long been one of our favourite restaurants in all of Bali, with branches in Canggu, Uluwatu, and, of course, Ubud. The chic, modern spot, located close to Ubud Royal Palace in the town center, has an extensive breakfast menu served until 4pm daily. They offer everything from lighter options like chia bowls and overnight oats to hearty dishes such as egg benny and the huge breakfast burrito.

In response to high demand, the beloved Canggu cafe has opened a second location in the center of Ubud. One my second or third day in Ubud, as I walked around the crowded main street (Jalan Raya Ubud) feeling lost, jet-lagged and lonely, I stumbled upon Milk and Madu. It was one of the cafés I already wanted to try, so I walked in and immediately felt at home. Milk and Madu is beautiful, Instagrammable and modern: I could have been in a café in London, Melbourne or Copenhagen.

Bagi kalian yang tinggal di Ubud atau sering berlibur ke Ubud, pastinya sudah tidak asing lagi dengan nama Milk Madu. One of the main reasons we visited Milk and Madu in the first place was due to the fact it did gluten-free pizza which turned out to be one of the best pizzas Leah’s had in a long time. The other reason is that they do a 2-4-1 deal on all same-sized pizzas on Tuesdays and Sundays after 4pm.

Here you can find everything from breakfast to lunch and amazing dinners. With cute and quirky decor you can find the food here just as aesthetic as your surroundings.

For somewhere that also serves pizza, you might not expect the best coffee in Ubud to be found at Milk & Madu. However, they somehow manage to do everything well!. The coffee bar comes complete with a delectable selection of cakes so it’s hard to order a flat white without buying a cake in the process (well at least it was for me).

This cafe has earned its reputation as one of the best in town. What sets it apart is the lively ambiance, complete with live music performances that add a touch of vibrancy to your visit. The café’s name, which translates to ‘milk’ and ‘honey,’ perfectly captures the delightful flavors and comforting vibes you’ll find here.

Milk and Madu occupies one of the most central locations in Ubud being right in the city center away nearby to the main temple. It’s so central in fact, that there are no places to park your scooter which is a bit annoying.

Just a little north of Ubud Palace and across the street is Milk & Madu. The atmosphere is very friendly and the food was reasonably priced and yummy. We also spoke to an Australian couple at the table next to us who informed us that the flat white they ordered was the best one they’ve had in Ubud.

For somewhere for brunch then try Milk & Madu located in the centre of town. The coffee is excellent and the menu is absolutely huge with everything from brioche french toast to burgers, salad bowls and the most amazing gourmet pizzas. The kids menu includes chicken tenders, kids pizzas and pasta.

Milk & Madu is another Canggu brand that expanded by popular demand to Ubud. We like to stop in for one of their super-filling all-day breakfasts, but plenty of great fare is on the menu. It’s also a superb spot for Instagram photos, as the restaurant and the food are lovingly presented.

If you love smoothie bowl, then this place is a must-visit spot. One of their popular menu is the smoothie bowl. This menu made out of strawberries, blueberries, dragon fruit, mango, banana, goji berries, yogurt, chia seeds, honey, mint, and granola.

Other cafes in Ubud that will be the best place for night owls is Milk & Madu Ubud. Well, rather than any other common cafes, this place serves some full courses that will feed you properly. Enjoy a pizza, pasta or grill item from their mains menu.

It is pricey, but they have a nice atmosphere and great food. I loved coming here as it was so conveniently located in the heart of Ubud centre. Also not to worry, there are definitely food options for everyone and the staff is quite friendly.
