"Plant Bistro is hands down our favourite vegan restaurant in Ubud! 🌱
As frequent travellers who specifically seek out vegan spots wherever we go, we were blown away by Plant Bistro. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the rooftop setting offers breathtaking views that instantly set it apart from other great places in the area.
The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome every time. A special mention to Boogie, who served us on each of our visits — his energy and service were exceptional.
Now, the real highlight: the food. Simply put, it’s amazing. We’ve already been back three times, which says it all. We’re big fans of vegan pizzas, burgers, and pastas etc — and Plant Bistro delivered on all fronts. Their pizza was genuinely the best I’ve ever had, and my partner loved the pasta too. Also the pistachio ice cream and macarons are lovely too!
If you’re in Ubud, do yourself a favour and make time to visit Plant Bistro. It’s an experience you won’t forget — and one you’ll likely come back to again and again."

"What an amazing surprise! Both my partner and I are not vegan, but we decided to try Plant Bistrot in Ubud—and we walked out completely impressed. From the first moment, the experience was flawless: the location is breathtaking, set in the peaceful Blanco Museum area, right above the river with stunning views that set the perfect mood.
The menu is packed with creative, tempting options, and the flavors are simply “wow.” Every dish was rich, satisfying, and beautifully presented. Chef Simona, the owner and creative force behind it all, has truly crafted something special—probably the best vegan cuisine we've come across on the island. You can feel the passion and care in every bite.
The presentation of each dish is top-notch, and the service matches the quality of the food: warm, professional, and attentive without being intrusive.
Even as non-vegans, we were completely won over. This place proves that great food is great food—no matter the label. We’ll definitely be back, again and again, on every visit to Ubud. A must-try spot that deserves all the praise."
