What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Angelina's offers a mixed dining experience, with many praising its beautiful canalside setting, elegant ambiance, and standout dishes like the filet steak. However, some reviews mention disappointing food quality, particularly burnt pizzas and microwaved-tasting dishes, alongside slow and sometimes rude service.
"10/10 experience , delicious from start to finish
The tuna crudo and the scallops were standout dishes to me but the service from the lovely Agnes made it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a special meal with a lovely setting by the canal"
Thea Kinsella
"This place has good food, good ambiance, and good service. Its located beside the river, and they have some tables just beside the river, and its a lovely view. Indoor ambiance of place is very classy. I My top dishes would be Tempura Prawns, Grilled Crusted Cod, and side of French Beans. Prawns and Cod were both very fresh. Cod was made nice crispy on one side, and sauce was also very tasty. The blue cheese combination with french beans was extraordinary. Chocolate Brownie and Coffee Cream was very tasty, and I would go back for this. We ordered a few more things. Irish Crab Salad was okayish, nothing bad or good. Chips were bit soggy, and pita with Buratta was very dry and hard. Cocktails were good."

"Nice place and friendly stuff. Food was fine. The most interesting their cocktails, wide choice and good presentation
We reserved the table but it was lots places to sit (possibly because it was Thursday)"
