Angelina's is such a great all round restaurant, especially for groups of friends or larger groups because of the booth seating areas. Located near popular Baggot Street and close the city, this is a great chopice for some dinner and drinks before carrying the night on in town. The menu is sophisticated Italian and with a great big bar, the cocktails keep flowing.

Treated my sister and her husband to a dinner for her first night on her honeymoon. The food was great however after specifically stating her allergy to gluten several times, the waiter offered a stated “gluten free” brownie for their dessert which she later found out was not at all gluten free. She spent the next 3 nights of their honeymoon extremely sick.

A picturesque spot on the canal, Angelina’s is open all day and has a broad menu, delicious cocktails and beautiful views. It’s definitely worth booking in advance to avoid disappointment, as it does tend to fill up. If you’re around during brunch, definitely try out the egg florentine, while our number one dinner option is the sea bass for sure.

Served with poached eggs, a side of potatoes and a dreamy hollandaise, it’s one of the few places you can get a benedict with pork – and worth making the trip to Percy Place in Dublin 4 for that alone.

But there is an undeniable reason why this dish is so loved. Fish goes perfectly with hollandaise – the lemon, duh. €14 for golden crab cakes with pink grapefruit, avo and chilli kale.

There’s probably nothing that a Bloody Mary and a stack of vanilla buttermilk pancakes in Angelina’s couldn’t fix. A great place for a fun, relaxed atmosphere and people watching.
