"Very mid experience, almost a tourist trap feeling. Food was okay but nothing to write home about. We had the Irish stew, steak, and veggie soup.
However, thoroughly unimpressed with the service quality. We were served by a senior waitress, who seemed like either a supervisor or manager. She could not have shown less care to us, starting from tossing the menus on the table, stepping on my feet, to, basically, expecting us to take care of ourselves. And to fish for tips after it all.
The atmosphere is okay but given the abundance of other places in the area, I wouldn't return."

"The lamb we had here last night was absolutely delicious.. fork tender and falling off the bone! One of the best meals we have had in Ireland to date! The vegetables are steamed/blanched and devoid of any seasoning or flavour.
The restaurant was busy and the three waitresses were run off their feet. Service nonetheless was quick."

A nice spot in tourist-loving Killarney where you get lots for your money, including that must-try Full Irish Breakfast. Their heaped hangover-quenching option features all the usuals, from blood sausage to baked beans and a chunky local sausage. This is basic food done well and in generously abundant quantities (if you’re fresh from a hike, go for the mixed grill), and while it probably won’t be the highlight of your holiday, it does give a taste of what the more everyday Irish cuisine is like.

Caragh Restaurant in Killarney has a couple of vegetarian options and has fast service with a separate menu section for vegetarian options. On my first visit, I had a tasty Vegetarian Lasagna that came with three scoops of potatoes, veggies, and garlic bread.
