What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Cronins Restaurant is lauded for its exceptional food, particularly traditional Irish dishes, and its warm, friendly service. Many reviewers highlight the cozy atmosphere and the use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. While overwhelmingly positive, some note a lack of extensive vegan or vegetarian options.
"We had dinner here our first night in Killarney. Although they were completely booked up for the night, they still made accommodations for us to dine and drink in their outdoor seating. Food was great, staff was very friendly. My wife and I would recommend d the lamb shank and/or Shepards pie!"
Nick Angelosanto
"Went here based on reviews and it was enjoyable. I ordered the lamb shank with extra veggies and it was good. My friend had the chicken special and she enjoyed it too. The bread and butter they give you for free at the beginning was delicious too. Service was fast and kind. To me it seemed like a good place to go get traditional Irish food!"
Kenzie Winther
"Very yummy pub food! We had the fried Brie appetizer, Shepard’s pie and roast of the day (lamb) desserts of toffee pudding and raspberry merengue. It was all tasty and comforting. We got there around 6 and there was only 1 table left so it might be safer to book in advance but thankfully it worked out for us."

They are friendly and it is comfortable, but I will not repeat.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the bartender after our tour at Killarney Brewing Company. He mentioned how busy it can get as it is a local favorite, when we arrived they didn’t have a table for us. They were incredibly kind in asking us to wait, explore town for 30 minutes and when we come back they will have a table saved for us.
