"The soup was delicious, and the main dish wasn’t bad either. But then came the cocktail “a Manhattan” that was absolutely disgusting.
I took a sip and thought, This can’t be right… maybe I missed something. So I asked my friends to try it, and they all had the same reaction.
I called the waitress over and asked to swap it for a beer instead. To their credit, the beer was really good. But then came the real kicker I still had to pay for that awful cocktail. Seriously? I’ve never had to pay for something so bad.
Back when I was a teenager, one of my go-to drinks was beer mixed with the cheapest vodka imaginable. And you know what? Even that was ten times better than this Manhattan.
