"Upon opening the door you are just immersed in a clay an inviting space. The little cosy bar inside the entrance affords customers time to enjoy a drink on arrival or after they've finished in the dining area. It was festively decorated for the Christmas period when we visited and we felt bad when it came time to leave. The atmosphere in the dining room was nice and relaxed with complimentary lighting and furnishings. We had the prawns and French onion soup to start, turkey & ham and blade of beef for main courses along with some root vegetables and chips for sides. All were top drawer with just the right portion size. There was nothing left on anyone's plate and yet we were all satisfied that we'd had enough. The staff are very attentive and friendly and I see on social media their menu changes quite regularly so that in itself is a reason to already return."
