What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Last Refuge is highly praised for its exceptionally fresh and tasty seafood, with many diners highlighting unique presentations like seafood served in seashells. The waterfront location and cozy, nautical atmosphere are also frequent points of appreciation. However, some reviews mention that the restaurant can be pricey for Eilat, and a few have experienced inconsistencies with certain dishes, such as dry potatoes or overcooked seafood, though these seem to be exceptions.

It's definitely place for seafood lovers 😋 but also nice chicken skewers and schnitzel for kids.

"A little on the pricey side, but excellent food and a good location! We had the mixed seafood bowl which came served in an awesome shell, as well as some of the shrimp dishes, crab soup and a spicy pineapple salad. It was an excellent meal and something I'd recommend for people looking for good seafood!"

Restaurants in Eilat
Locals hold this fish and seafood restaurant (known in Hebrew as Hamiflat Ha'acharon) in high regard and take their guests from "up north" here as a real treat. The dining room, with dark paneling and nautical motifs like ships' wheels, spills out onto a spacious balcony where diners eat beside the water, looking at Jordan across the way. Presented with a flourish are fish or crab soups, freshly caught charcoal-grilled Red Sea fish, and creamed seafood served in a seashell.
