Reviews Summary

Diners praise the excellent food, particularly the gourmet Mediterranean fusion dishes and aged steaks, along with the outstanding cocktails and great ambiance. However, some reviews mention issues with service, including delays in receiving menus or bills, and at times, an overwhelming indoor noise level.

"Excellent experience all around. Awesome ambiance and atmosphere. Hospitable, helpful staff. Incredible food. This is a 3 course meal plus dessert. We got several different plates to try and everything had a great flavor. The brisket had a Mediterranean fusion flair that made it my favorite. It’s a little on the pricy end but worth it.

You may want to make a reservation if you arrive after 6 just to be safe. Located near First Station but just off the main road Hebron."

"One of a few restaurants still open Friday night in Jerusalem, Hasadna the workshop offers a very good selection of aged Steaks that you can choose from the refrigerator yourself.
The service was friendly and good, the restaurant was very crowded and we had to leave right on time when our two hours were up.. which was not great and will be a consideration if to return."

Oren Rosenfeld

"For fans of gourmet cuisine and meat. There is a special offer for half a kilo of selected T-bone for two.
We limited ourselves to the first courses, they are sooooo good. For my taste, they shove a lot of butter everywhere. The restaurant is not kosher and that gives it a special charm, especially in Jerusalem.
In the evenings it is quite noisy inside and it makes sense to sit on the terrace. Excellent Israeli wine list.

Nightlife in Jerusalem

Helmed by the geniuses behind Machneyuda restaurant and housed in an old factory, this is a temple to the craft of cocktails on the outskirts of Jerusalem's First Station shopping and dining complex. The drinks—mixed with outstanding homemade syrups and juices—change frequently, but if it's on the menu try a celery daiquiri. Tapas-style dishes emphasize expertly prepared seafood and include a sea-bass bruschetta, seafood curry, and smoked octopus.

The Best Cocktails in Jerusalem

Culinary Workshop is part of a group of great, hip restaurants in Jerusalem (which include Machane Yehuda, Mona, and Talbiya Wine Bar). The ambience is cool, the food is really good, and it’s a great date night or birthday dinner spot. The cocktails are all good, including the gin martini, but my fave is the strong, tropical, and spiced Trinidad Sour.

The Culinary Workshop is another signature restaurant by Chef Assaf Granit you should check out while touring Modern Jerusalem. From personal experience, I tell you this place is superb. This is one of the nicest places for a nice dinner alongside with Chakra Restaurant that I mentioned above.
