What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners rave about the unique and unforgettable experience of eating in complete darkness, praising the delicious food and the profound empathy gained. While many highlight the exceptional service from blind waiters and the overall immersive nature, a few have reported severe food poisoning incidents and a lack of follow-up from management, casting a shadow on an otherwise highly recommended dining adventure.
"WOW! Go to this place and you will be in for one epic experience! It is a restaurant where you eat in pitch darkness, cannot see a thing at all. The waiters are blind and they guide you into the dark room, where they teach you to feel for your cutlery, plates, tables etc.. You can also talk with them on their lives and any other questions you have.
As for the food, the pastas were all very good. Between our table 3 of us got different versions of Pasta, and all of us enjoyed it.
Dessert was all really really good too. As were the breads and dips that were already on the table when we got there.
You can choose to get a dish off the menu, or you can choose for them to surprise you with a dish, and you have to figure what you are eating in the dark without seeing any of it.
Go here!"

"What an amazing experience. They had sourdough bread absolutely delicious. The Food was a three course meal, and I have to say to all the nay sayers...... What's your problem? The food was delicious and tasted freshly cooked and NOT microwaved. The experience and service was great. We had about 20-30 people last night (11 March) and everyone had a great time and we all agreed the food was VERY good. Must do experience...... loved it. Thanks!"

"I came to this place as a surprise from my partner, so I didn’t know what it’s gonna be like beforehand.
Everything was very well organized, we got some information about what is going to be (both in Hebrew and English) and clear instructions what to do.
Both of us are vegan 🌱 so we ordered “vegan surprise” from menu.
Experience was indescribable and both of us loved it a lot it is definitely a place one must visit at least once! Food was great and tasty too.
No photos were made for obvious reasons 😅"

A Blackout dinner and a show at the Nalaga'at Center in Tel Aviv
To heighten the experience to a depth I can’t even begin to describe, I decided to have dinner at the Black Out restaurant next door, which is affiliated with the Nalaga’at Center but run independently. It’s a restaurant for about 30 persons that operates in complete darkness, so you eat your meal as if you are blind.
