What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ristorante Bistro' Maison Bandí is praised for its warm, rustic atmosphere and exceptional Valdostan cuisine, particularly its aged beef steak and creative dishes. Diners appreciate the personal touch of the family-run business and the quality of local wines and homemade liquors. While most reviews are highly positive, some found certain main courses less exciting than the appetizers and noted a lack of variety in side dishes.
"Highly suggested. They accept a late reservation in the evening avoiding any complain or push us to end our dinner. Friendly and professional. All the plates are wonderful. We suggest polenta corbonada, gnocchi al ragù and all the antrè. One special note for the amazing tarta tatin and the incredible Antonello. Our best, we went two times and if we are going back again we will spend other time in Aosta."

"The location is super cozy and has characteristics and cure for details. The waiters are friendly and super nice, their suggestions for wines were excellent. The food was overall ok, the entrees were actually very good, the tartare was well seasoned and very pleasant, the fondue was as it should be, nothing to complain about. The main courses were less exciting, the "Valdostrana" wanted to be a revisitation of the topical "valdostana" but was not convincing and the entrecote was just ok. I didn't like the fact that all the main dishes are served with the same salad as the side, it denotes a lack of fantasy or a lack of effort. Ok but can be better"
