What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bugan Coffee Lab is celebrated as a top destination for specialty coffee enthusiasts, praised for its expertly roasted beans, unique brewing methods, and passionate baristas. While some find it a bit pricey for a cappuccino in Italy and seating can be limited, the exceptional quality and immersive coffee experience make it a highly recommended spot for those serious about their coffee.
"Negatives:
Not a huge amount of seating and somewhat expensive for a cappuccino in Italy at €4 a cup.
Positives:
Wow. Specialty coffee, tonnes to look and see around the shop. Super fresh, tasty beans. They clearly run a website or something where they sell their own blends and roasts and they roast it on a machine just in the middle of the shop which is amazing to see. The smells that hit you as soon as you walk through the door is the smell of a true coffee shop. We got two cappuccinos at €4 each, pretty art, I got the Ethiopian blend and my partner got the Costa Rica blend and they were both delicious.
Highly recommend this place. Would go back!"

"A hidden gem for coffee lovers in Bergamo.
We stumbled upon Burgan Coffee Lab by chance while exploring the area, and it turned out to be a fantastic find for anyone into specialty coffee. We had two espressos and a cappuccino I went with the espresso, made with Colombian style beans and honestly, it was one of the best I’ve ever had. it was ike a little symphony in a cup.
The barista was super friendly and really knew her stuff she walked us through the beans and the brewing process with so much care and passion it definitely made the experience even better.
The place itself is pretty small more of a “grab a quick coffee” kind of vibe but what it lacks in space makes up for in quality plus, they sell their beans if you want to bring some home."

"We had Ethiopian and Colombian coffee varieties, which had rich and layered flavours. The store doesn't have much seating room, but it was sufficient for a quick drink. €3-5 for the drinks in general which is good for the quality."
