However, several reviewers caution about potential overcharging and lack of bill clarity, with some experiencing disappointing food quality for the price.

"A few days ago, we visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from a friend of the owner. In a group of five, we found ourselves without menus, so we opted to trust the suggestion of trying a selection of appetizers and a couple of steaks as our main course. In hindsight, this turned out to be a significant mistake, and we regret placing our trust on the staff of this place. This is how it developed: we had an average meal with few appetizers, two steaks and another meat dish, normal wine, vin santo at the end and two additional drinks. One of the two steaks we shared was overcooked so we didn't even finish it. We mentioned that to the waiter but no answer/feedback was given. They brought at the end some dessert to try that we didn't even ask for (supposedly for free). We ended up paying 500euros total for average food in an average place. I have travelled all over the world, I think such a bill would have been acceptable in downtown Zurich (city of bankers), not Seravezza. I think the final bill was outrageous for the food/beverages we had. May be, the staff think they can charge this much for being close to Forte dei Marmi. But I have news for them: they are not in the same league as top restaurants in Forte dei Marmi. I am done with this place and probably my friends too, who shared the same table with me..."

"Beware - they try to cheat you on the bill (they don't detail the prices in the bill).
Our meal cost 230 and they tried to charge 300. They gave desserts for free and then tried to charge for it. This was not an honest mistake as they continued to try to cheat (and in the end charged us 250 which was still higher..)
Besides that the food and atmosphere were good."

A Short Tour Through the Heart (And Belly) of Forte dei Marmi
Back by the sea, it’s time for a drink or an aperitivo, where we head to the central square, sitting at Il Giardino (which is also excellent for breakfast), to the right among the small tables of Caffè Sambo — a roastery since 1968 — or to the left, among those of Caffè Soldi, a pastry shop with stratospheric mignons and cream puffs. For a great classic, try the cappuccino at Bar Principe, opened recently under the Prada Group, and a cocktail before dancing in the shadows of the pines at Freak — decidedly less chaotic than other more emblazoned establishments where people go to drink rather than be noticed. An honorable mention then goes to two historic addresses that thrive with a light dusting of flour, already adored beyond the Tuscan borders: while the silent wait is part of an experience at Orlando's bakery, culminating with a pizzetta flaunting imprecise edges, at Valè's the schiaccina with coarse salt, served in seconds, is an unforgettable experience.
A Local’s Guide to Versilia
Il Pozzo Di Bugia (Querceta) – The seasonally-changing menu at this Querceta restaurant is full of refined and innovative versions of Tuscan food, with special emphasis on the bounty of the land. The walls of the large room inside are scribbled with recipes that the chef dedicates to customers, a cozy match with the soft lighting and vintage furniture. During the summer months, the outdoor seating, in a garden with olive trees, is a godsend.
