"This is without a doubt the best we had on our trip through southern Italy. Great service from a waiter who managed to stay on top of about a dozen tables running pizzas from the wood fired oven so they arrived hot 20 or 30 meters away. We had the marinated seafood platter…best flavours and a nice selection of salmon , anchovies and swordfish. Followed with a seafood pasta with very large pasta tubes. They were nice enough to serve it in 2 bowls to make sharing easier…it was delicious and lots of seafood throughout. A small serving of braised black pig just to sample…wow was it good-juicy and melt in your mouth tender. For fun we also had a specialty pizza with mortadella and pistachio cream , very crispy and chewy sourdough. The pistachio cream added a very interesting flavour… it would perhaps be better with ham, the mortadella almost overwhelms the pistachio.
Definitely eat here, it’s worth the side trip, especially if you are visiting the palace."
