"(Translated by Google) We didn't know what to do for the day of the Befana, we opted for Caserta Vecchia and relied on the internet to search for the restaurant where to have lunch, where "Mastrangelo" was among the top for reviews... luck smiled on us!

Warm and welcoming environment, attentive and friendly staff, a quiet and peaceful place to spend a good day of celebration in company. We all had the same starter for two people where the parmigiana was a real pleasure.
For the first course I recommend the pappardelle with white wild boar and white wine... a unique delicacy. Little choice of desserts among those left but the warm chocolate heart was a good choice.
I also recommend it for what we paid, just over €30 per person... and we ate a lot. We will be back for sure

Non sapevamo cosa fare per il giorno della Befana, optiamo per Caserta Vecchia e ci affidiamo ad internet per la ricerca del ristorante dove pranzare, dove "Mastrangelo" era tra i primi per recensioni ... la fortuna ci ha sorriso!

Ambiente caldo e accogliente, lo staff attento e simpatico,un posto tranquillo e sereno dove passare una buona giornata di festa in compagnia. Abbiamo preso tutti lo stesso antipasto per due persone dove la parmigiana è stata una vera goduria.
Per primo piatto consiglio le pappardelle al cinghiale bianco con vino bianco... una bontà unica. Poca scelta di dolci tra quelli rimasti ma il cuore caldo al cioccolato è stata una buona scelta.
Consiglio inoltre per quanto abbiamo pagato, poco più di 30€ a persona ... e abbiamo mangiato tanto. Ci torneremo di sicuro"

Proprio di fronte il Duomo di Caserta Vecchia si trova questo ristorante.
Location,che poi è un vecchio convento,veramente superlativa. Abbiamo pranzato in 4.
Cibo buono come anche il servizio.
Prezzi un po' più alti della media dei ristoranti del posto,ma giustificati dalla bellezza del posto.
Abbiamo pranzato esternamente perché oggi faceva un caldo infernale.
Ci ritornerò sicuramente,ma la sera oppure quando le temperature sono più fresche.
Cibo più adatto in inverno che quando fa molto caldo.
