Reviews Summary
Dimora Ulmo is praised for its breathtaking views, luxurious historic setting adorned with art, and exceptionally attentive service that makes diners feel like royalty. However, some guests found certain dishes to be uninspired or lacking flavor, despite the beautiful presentation. The extensive wine list is a definite highlight for many patrons.
"A very nice experience
The restaurant is located in a stunning building with a discreet entrance behind a set of closed doors where you press a doorbell for admittance. Beautifully decorated with chandeliers & modern art - all tastefully put together as only the Italians can do. There are various degustation menus from Euro 80 to 120. The menu is explained beautifully by the impeccably dressed maitre’d & pre dinner drinks served with stylish panache. The restaurant is huge but on this cold winter Monday’s evening, only 2 tables were seated so service & attention to detail was spot on. The food service was flawless & our courses served at the perfect pace. Each dish seemed to get better than the last - although every dish was well executed. Presentation & taste were all given much thought & we enjoyed all the dishes. Standouts were the beef tartare & the pasta as well as the pre dinner snacks & petit fours served at the conclusion with a complimentary limoncello (home made & very strong!) Overall - an very good experience & totally satisfying."

"Do it. Get the tasting menu. Its really fun. It wasnt the BEST tasting menu i’ve had but the presentation made up for it. The explanations of the dishes were exquisite but when I would taste them, they kinda tasted regular EXCEPT the scallop tartare. That was magnifique. Service is an 11/10, makes you feel like aristocracy. Its also cute inside and the attention to cuttlery is a nice touch."

"A Truly Exceptional Gourmet Experience
From the moment we arrived at this outstanding gourmet restaurant, we were blown away by the entire experience. Nestled in a stunning location, with breathtaking views and an elegant atmosphere, the setting alone was enough to set the stage for a memorable evening.
The service was nothing short of exceptional. The waitstaff were attentive without being intrusive, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely passionate about providing the best experience possible. Each course was introduced with care, and their wine pairings were spot on.
As for the food – it was a true culinary masterpiece. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor, clearly prepared with the highest quality ingredients and great attention to detail. The creativity and precision of the chef were evident in every bite.
This restaurant isn’t just a place to eat – it’s a place to experience food in its finest form. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply want to treat yourself to something extraordinary, this gourmet gem is well worth the visit. Highly recommended!"
