What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Orsonero Coffee is widely praised for its exceptional specialty coffee and delicious pastries, particularly its cinnamon rolls and croissants. Reviewers often highlight the friendly and knowledgeable baristas, as well as the cozy, minimalist atmosphere. However, some patrons note that the cafe can get very crowded due to its small size, and a few have expressed that the coffee was too acidic or did not meet their expectations.
"Cozy little coffee shop in the heart of Milan serving delicious specialty coffee and freshly baked pastries. The space is small and there’s usually a bit of a line but it moves quickly and the staff is super friendly and attentive. Their Cappuccino is absolutely perfect. Smooth, rich and full of flavor. One of the best I’ve ever had. Easily a 10/10. We also tried three different pastries and my personal favorite is the Cinnamon Roll. Soft, fluffy and to my surprise it had a honey glaze that made it extra special. The Pain Suisse is another standout. Golden and crispy on the outside, filled with creamy custard and rich dark chocolate. We had high expectations for the Pistachio Croissant based on all the hype and while it was good, it didn’t quite live up to the others. It could’ve been more buttery and definitely needed more pistachio filling. Still, this place is a must visit if you’re a coffee lover in Milan. Locals and tourists clearly agree.☕️🥐"

"Very small place. But crowded all the time. Food was average. In pictures they show esthetic coffee and food. But in reality u will just get a basic coffee. Did not meet my expectations"

"Never ate anything from here, only drank the coffee. Definitely is very unique and worth the price.
The only negative part isn't to do with the coffee or staff, but the people ( especailly La Moda and influencer wannabes wearing Salomon trekking shoes ) who decide to draw out their stay by endless scrolling on instagram after finishing their coffee. Drink your coffee, eat your cake and leave to allow other people sit down and enjoy.
Interior is designed nicely and can be appreciated at the most when there isn't a boatload of people inside.
Coffee is 100% legit"

Among the first to invest in quality coffee was Canadian-born Brent Jopson, who together with his wife Giulia Gasperini opened Orsonero Coffee at the end of 2016. The decor is played on the light tones of wood and minimalistic style, with minimal seating and a central bar counter for sipping excellent cups. In addition to the various single-origin Gardelli Specialty Coffees at the bar, it's possible to try quality Italian and foreign selections: from Peacocks Coffee Roasters to Five Elephant, from Nero Scuro to Elysian Coffee Roasters, there are many brands that take turns on the shelves of the coffee shop, one better than the other, all treated with the utmost care by Brent himself.
