Reviews Summary

Trattoria Trippa is highly acclaimed for its innovative yet traditional Italian cuisine, particularly its signature tripe dishes and perfectly executed pasta. Diners rave about the exceptional quality of ingredients and the attentive, friendly service that enhances the cozy trattoria ambiance. While reservations are notoriously difficult to secure, the overwhelming consensus is that the experience is well worth the effort and anticipation.

"We had such a great experience in Trippa. First of all, staff are awesome. They are so kind and professional. Prices are affordable for a Michelin restaurant.
You will need reservation because the restaurant is fully booked most of the time.
Food was awesome- I will go there again whenever I am in Milan.

♥️"

"Both the Maltagliati and Lombatello di Vitello were finger licking good, especially the latter was my favorite with its great balance of salty, sour flavors combined with the sweetness of the leek and carrots.

Staff was so kind, and positive.

The only thing that could have been better was the Tiramisu… It was not to my liking; too sweet and cream heavy, lacking some tanginess. Savoiardi biscuits were not soaked properly.

However, it was still a great dinner, and if I have the chance, I will definitely dine here again."

ZC

"Best pasta we’ve ever had… the Tagliatelle melts in your mouth. The seasonal Tortelli was a highlight as well. Of course we enjoyed the classic fried tripe, which we had never tried before. Not pictured was an incredible eggplant stracciatella dish that we loved. And dessert personally loved the cheesecake and my husband enjoyed the panacotta.

Every dish 10/10.

Service 12/10. Our interactions with all the wait staff, manager, sommelier and head chef made the experience.

Worth every penny and then some.

We hope we are lucky enough to come back again and again!"

The Eames Institute hosted a dinner at hot-to-trotter Milanese restaurant Trippa, which lived up to the name but provided vegan options for the faint of (gulp) heart. At the historic Villa Necchi, T Magazine** welcomed the good and great, and then purportedly turned away a number of its own advertisers when the quarters got too close for elbow-rubbing. Most importantly, a disreputable scandal sheet known as Dezeen—in conjunction with another, equally scurrilous organ with the effrontery to call itself **The Architect’s Newspaper—sponsored, along with Novità, an “America Night” party at Super Club in the basement of the Superstudio design complex in the Zona Tortona, the first time anything interesting has happened in the once-happening neighborhood since Daniel Arsham was just a sweet kid with a plaster fetish.

If you’re visiting Milan during stone fruit season and manage to nab a Trippa reservation – no small feat!.
