Pasticceria Poppella is celebrated for its iconic Fiocco di Neve, praised for its delightful texture and balanced fillings, with many visiting for this signature pastry. While the ambiance is often described as warm and the service efficient despite queues, some reviewers express concerns about rising prices and perceived changes in portion size. "A famous patisserie, which opens at 8:30, that has all kinds of cakes, and pastries, out of this world.
Everything is so beautiful, and more importantly - really delicious.
We will come back again, also tomorrow, and we will certainly recommend the place, to others."

"I decided to try all of them after seeing the crazy line to try these, but the staff is really really fast. and I ate the deserts in the plate and I felt great 😂 i even had two more before my flight .
I got 10 fiocchi di neve with me, for my friends to try and I brought 5 of them home. I got them at 14:00 and I was home after my flight to Albania at 22:00. They can last for 10 hours without being refrigerated and three days refrigerated.
I should have gotten more. After being refrigerated they tasted even better.
I got just one with pistacchio but it was so good. It is worth the wait.
They should have added one charging place cause with that line I lost my battery and I got what I wanted instead of communicating with my cousins to ask them what would they prefer."

"So I finally made it to the famous Poppella, ready to be swept off my feet by sugary greatness. I had dreams. Hopes. A camera roll waiting for pastry content.
The pistachio pastry? Delicious. Creamy, decadent, and honestly the only reason this review isn’t just one long sigh. If you’re a pistachio person, that one’s worth the hype.
But then came the baba… and folks, I don’t know what went wrong, but it tasted like a wet muffin that lost its will to live. Somehow soggy and dry at the same time? Like it took a swim in syrup and came out confused about its identity. In Naples—where babas are a religion—this one felt like sacrilege.
Cute place, nice staff, glad I tried it… but would I go back? Probably not. There are just too many pastry gods in this city to settle for a soggy muffin pretending to be a baba.
Final verdict: Go once, try the pistachio, and avoid the baba unless you’re into emotionally unstable baked goods."
