What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Pizzeria Pellone is celebrated for its authentic Neapolitan pizzas, especially the highly recommended fried pizza and generous portions. While many praise the quality of ingredients and efficient service, some diners find the dough chewy or the pizza base soggy, with a few mentioning long wait times and a cash-only policy as minor drawbacks.
"Amazing pizza! We had a Diavola & a ‘O My Sun (pictured) pizza. One pizza is approximately 12” and plenty to share between 2 people. The fried potato with cheese (Croquette) was also amazing! Probably the best potato I’ve ever had. Will be definitely back next time we’re in Napoli."

"This was highly recommended by a Napoli local, and we could tell from the throngs of locals waiting for a table at lunch that it is a popular spot. Service was quick, but the pizza toppings were too heavy for the base and everything was soggy. Not quite what I am used to in a pizza. Pizza is huge, 1 pizza could feed 2-3 pax, 4 if sides are ordered."

"Amazing experience at Pizzeria Pellone! The service was excellent, with attentive and efficient staff. I had an incredible fried pizza filled with ricotta, provola, and guanciale — absolutely delicious, made with top-quality ingredients. The atmosphere was cozy and the location perfect. Highly recommended!"
