What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Il Libertyno garners praise for its exceptional Sicilian tapas, unique gourmet burgers, and the warm, attentive service that makes diners feel welcome. The charming ambiance, especially in the evenings, adds to the overall positive experience. However, some guests have found the portions small for the price, leading to a feeling of being unsatisfied, and in one instance, a dish was served lukewarm and reheated.
"Great mood and cocktails, the Gin Smash is a must! bistro food, warm atmosphere, and excellent service. Simona and her team make this place special."

"Nice restaurant in a lovely setting, menu is small which I liked and more of a tapas menu. The ale list is expansive. Meat balls were nice as well as the cheesy potatoes. The soup was served luke which was then reheated. Service was very good indeed. The burger was nice."

"Excellent service in a very cozy restaurant tucked away in a quiet side street. The staff was friendly, and the food was outstanding - especially the tuna and beef tartare, as well as the Sicilian orange salad. The burger was just okay, but the aperitifs were delicious. All in all, highly recommended!"

A Complete Guide to Noto
Unfortunately our very favourite negroni spot - The Mug - appears to have closed down (please let us know in the comments if this springs to life again), but if you’re looking for a 6 pm aperitivo, we’d recommend Emily’s Wine (maps) for well, an excellent glass of wine, Il Libertyno (maps) for an Aperol Spritz, or if you’re all about the people watching, just pick somewhere on Corso Vittoria Emmanuelle - the drinks are a little pricier than you’ll find on many of the nearby backstreets but given its location you’re in prime passeggiata territory!
