Reviews Summary

Patronale is celebrated for its authentic Italian cuisine, particularly its fresh seafood and expertly prepared pasta dishes. Diners consistently praise the warm, attentive, and professional service provided by staff like Andrea and Marco, who enhance the dining experience. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, a rare instance of dissatisfaction with a steak dish and an unexpected double charge was noted, though these seem to be outliers.

"Our favorite restaurant in Otranto. We ate here twice and left very happy after both visits.
The pasta as well as the seafood and the tiramisu were just great. The service was also the best we have experienced in Otranto: friendly, professional and well English speaking.
The atmosphere in a more quiet corner of the old town was amazing and romantic.
Reservation is definitely recommended since place was always full."

"We love everything about this restaurant. Super fresh seafood, excellent taste, the wine pairing was perfection. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Amazing!"

Fanny Birner

"We had an unforgettable night. The eggplant parmigiana was hands down the best we’ve ever had! Rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
What truly made the evening special was the incredible service: Marco was always attentive, making sure our glasses were never empty, and Andrea surprised us with a tasting of a unique, spicy olive oil that was absolutely delicious. Both were extremely kind and welcoming. A place filled with warmth, flavor, and genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely come back!"

Otranto in Puglia, a surprise on the Italian east coast

We dined at 'Patronale' and 'Da Sergio', to our satisfaction. Keep in mind that lunch can be a serious meal and dinner doesn't start until 7:30 pm.
