What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Osteria dei Servi is celebrated for its authentic, high-quality traditional cuisine, particularly its homemade pastas and grilled meats. Diners consistently praise the friendly and professional service, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels like a true local gem. While most reviews are glowing, a few mention minor service delays during peak times or that certain dishes might prioritize portion size over nuanced flavor.
"Awesome grilled food. A nice change from having pasta consecutively for the past one week. Great ambience (near Palazza della Pilotta). Very popular with the locals. Good to make reservation, otherwise you will have to walk-in and might have to sit outdoors. Service is 💫💫💫💫💫."

"My husband and I had dinner here while in Parma and wow it was delicious. We loved how they started us off with the little packed bread and salami and cheese, it was all so good! We got a half liter of the house red and it was fantastic. We each started off with a pasta dish and decided to share a meat dish based on the recommendation of the waiter, who was spot on, it was PLENTY of food, there is no way I’d have been able to eat my own.
I ordered the pappardelle with wild boar ragu which was very flavorful and delicious. My husband started with the tortelli with truffle, Parmesan, and asparagus and said his was also really fantastic. We then decided to share the Rosa dei Parma (also called Rosa dei Servi on the menu, apparently they have an old menu and a new menu but it is the same thing). I can’t begin to describe how good this was. It truly showcases the foods Parma is known for, Parmesan cheese and prosciutto de Parma, and also the steak that this restaurant specializes in. Every bite was a burst of flavor in my mouth.
We ordered the Susana cake for dessert which was good but nothing to write home about, and they brought us each a shot of limoncello which was very good. Given all the food we got, we couldn’t believe how reasonably priced the meal was and we left very full and happy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in Parma."

"Molto bene! I had a great dining experience here as a solo traveller, enjoying the atmosphere and friendly staff. Lots of travellers dining here as well as locals, families and groups of friends ✨
At the time of booking I already had to make a payment to secure it, which was later discounted.
The menu is extensive but I went for amazing meatballs (polpetta de la nonna) and then the local delicacy of tortellini d'erbetta 🍝
Note that they bring some aperitivos and then offer you truffle as well, such as for pasta, but not a must 🍄
A lovely traditional experience by the river in Parma!"
