"This restaurant is in Porto Cesareo.
*Made a reservation, but when we arrived they did not have it. Specifically requested outdoor overlooking the port for sunset. Luckily there was 1 table available.
* Waited 20 minutes at the table to be acknowledged and be given a menu. Ordered an appetizer of meat and cheese. Waited 35 minutes and they brought Thai rolls, chicken, some sort of vegetables, not what we ordered. They took it back and 15 minutes later brought 6 small pieces of cheese and cold cuts that looked like they were bought at the grocery store. Horrible service.
*I ordered from the menu which is a HUGE mistake. I ordered a filet with green pepper sauce. It finally arrived, it was not a filet, but a flat piece of white meat with some sort of disgusting white sauce and some green peppercorns.
25 minutes later my husbands steak arrived, which he had ordered from the meat counter. That steak actually tasted ok.
So, advice from someone who owns a few restaurants in Rome.
1. Only order the meat from the meat counter not meat on the menu.
2. Don't sit inside, it is extremely hot, no fan, no air.
3. The service is EXTREMELY HORRIBLE, beyond horrible. In the restaurant business, service is the key!
Honestly don't bother wasting your money, there are much better places to eat. The plexiglass overlooking the port for sunset is filthy dirty so you don't have a good view."
