It's all about fish at this welcoming spot, and aside from vegetable side dishes and dessert there's little on the menu that wasn't recently swimming (or lurking) in the sea. Locals flock here, and with good reason—the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. Depending on what's in season you might find a starter like mazzancolle alla catalana (steamed shrimp with cherry tomatoes and red onions, awash in local olive oil), which provides a tasty introduction to more complicated delights.

La Marianna is located in the Borg, an abbreviated name for the Borgo San Guiliano area just over the canal that links the sea to the town proper. Although it is located away from the sea, La Marianna’s large, shaded terrace full of local families offers the best fish in town. The bright and artfully designed interiors are perfectly matched by rustic and fresh sea food.

30/08/2024: It was suggested to us by the hotel receptionist when we were looking for a good fish restaurant near the Tiberius Bridge. So while we were on our way to the restaurant I tried to book through their website but I didn't receive any confirmation in almost an hour, but as soon as we arrived they seated us quite quickly. Excellent service, as soon as we sat down we immediately received a hot piadina and bread.

Rimini's nightlife hotspot is in the Vecchia Pescheria area in the historic center of Rimini. Here, around the marble stalls that once housed the old fish market, are pubs and clubs of all kinds, some even with outdoor tables, where you can have a drink, dine or spend an evening. Della trattoria La Marianna mi piace lo suo stile tipico e sincero (esiste da più di 100 anni !).
