"We had an Airbnb nearby in our stay in Rome, so we decided to check out Antico Forno Roscioli around 10 AM after finding good Google reviews on it. Thankfully, there was no line when we arrived, and we were able to walk right in. The place has a reputation for being busy, but going in the morning seemed to help us avoid the crowds. The staff was welcoming and efficient, and the atmosphere felt both lively and local.
While most people come for the pizza, we were surprised by the variety beyond that. The counter was full of fresh breads, pastries, and other baked goods that looked just as tempting. It’s easy to get carried away if you’re hungry, especially since everything is sold by weight and beautifully displayed. Even so, prices were reasonable, and it was a fun way to sample a bit of everything.
