"One of my favorite restaurants during my Sicilian vacation.
They serve great local dishes, with quick service and a quiet atmosphere, even though it’s very close to Taormina’s main street.
All the dishes were delicious, but my absolute favorite was the starter: parmigiana. I tried several throughout Sicily, and this one stood out. The aubergines were sliced very thin, full of flavor, with a perfect sauce and just the right amount of cheese.
The caponata was also excellent, and the linguine with red shrimp were fantastic.
Absolutely recommended if you’re in Taormina."

"A lovely restaurant set aside from the main road in Taormina. It had a lovely garden terrace where we had our meal. The meal was delicious. The starter aubergine caponata was incredible, well seasoned and rich in flavour. The bread was served warm with a helping of olive oil and balsamic vinegar- sadly lacking in other restaurants. The main meal was an alla Norma pizza and pasta both well seasoned and neatly balanced. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a meal!"

Casa Niclodi: This was actually the reception venue for our friends’ wedding however anyone can book a table here for dinner. We loved sitting outside in the fabulous courtyard with a wine in hand and working our way through the multitude of dishes that just kept on coming!. While the staff may work on Sicilian time (don’t expect anything to arrive quickly) it doesn’t really seem to matter when you’re in such a spectacular location.

Casa Niclodi is a hidden gem tucked away just off the main street in Taormina. They have an absolutely delightful garden, which is beautifully lit at night, creating a lovely ambience. My paccheri with monkfish and aubergine was absolutely gorgeous!
