Reviews Summary

Bacaromi offers a charming dining experience with a scenic location and exceptionally friendly, English-speaking staff. While many praise dishes like the risotto and steak, some diners found the overall quality and price point to be average or disappointing, with a noted concern about cover charges. The restaurant also receives positive mentions for accommodating dietary needs, particularly for vegan options.

"Delicious food & great service. We ate here twice during our stay, and both times our experience was fantastic. The staff was attentive to every detail, very friendly, and it's always appreciated when they are comfortable speaking English. Our meals were served at a relaxed pace, but not slow. We were traveling in Italy for almost 2 weeks and we feel we had our best meals at Bacaromi. Would 100% recommend"

"Excellent. It's our first meal in Venice. The meatballs was very tasty. Tuna steak was good quality with combination of the sauce. It's a Wow. It's pricey but we were really enjoyed the food."

"We ate at Bacaromi while staying at the Hilton Molino Stucky while in Venezia. First, the food was delicious and the service and atmosphere of being near the water were fabulous. So why the overall three-stars you ask? Well, we got charged a €25 cover fee for eating at the restaurant which is preposterous, especially as guests of the hotel. Great food, horrible charge for guests. Do better!

As for the food, the risotto alla secole was spectacular and my wife loved her fried shrimp and calamari. The panna cotta was just ok, I’ve had better and my wife enjoyed her tiramisu. The staff did a great job making sure the spaghetti was safe for our kids with food allergies."

As with Oro Restaurant (above), this restaurant is connected to the Hilton, which is on the other side of the island. The idea was a set up like a typical baccaro (traditional Venetian bar) but with a contemporary style. As you can imagine, the price will be higher than at a typical baccaro as well!
