"My husband and I were lucky enough to squeeze in on a Saturday evening around 8:15 pm but I highly recommend getting a reservation as some guests were turned away at the door. We both ordered the vegetarian burrito (can be made vegan) and LOVED it. It had a wonderful savor, salsa inside, and the flavors blended so well together. The tortillas are homemade. I also tried the homemade ginger ale but would give it a 6/10. I liked that it wasn’t so sweet but it didn’t have the punch I was expecting. I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and don’t understand the negative reviews about the customer service. I forgot to take a picture of the burrito as I was starving, but I included one photo of the warm colors and fun atmosphere. As a vegetarian/vegan it was so nice to find a restaurant (especially Mexican food!!) on Ishigaki Island. A wonderful treat for both of us."

"The appetizers are very, very small. The chip and guacamole came with 11 small pieces of chips and perhaps two tablespoons of guacamole. The vegan burrito was very good though. The staff was not very friendly and didn’t allow me to drink from the water bottle I purchased from Family Mart earlier that afternoon."

"Make sure you’re not in a hurry!!

PROS: I will say the food was really good, fresh, authentic, and all handmade (by the single cook in the kitchen).

CONS: It took 15min to get a couple of chips and salsa and then another 30 min to get the first of 4 meals. By the time the second meal arrived (50 mins after arrival), the first person as already done eating. This trend continued for each meal. The 3rd at 1 hour, and the final meal was delivered after 1 hour and 5 mins!

Also note that tap water costs ¥330 each glass!"
