"We went here for a belated birthday meal, it was good. The portions were sufficient to fill me up and the menu was varied enough to entertain. The staff are attentive, but I found them too attentive as if they were observing, rather than being ready to respond. I've not really experienced anything like it, but it didn't put me at ease.
I was happy with everything else and I'll be going back. They were very accommodating with our initial cancellation (due to an exciting bout of gastroenteritis) and my menu requests (not a fan of fish). Overall, excellent.
