"The reviews saying 'foreigners aren't welcome' I don't think are accurate, at least not in my case. This place does not have your typical Japanese politeness which doesn't bother me a single bit. They're a working class establishment. But what I think the previous reviewers may misunderstand is that they don't like is people wasting time at their small 12 seat business waiting for foreigners to translate and um and ah and order. If you're worried, just look at the menu in the photos, and come in ready with an order. I ordered beer and the zangi wings with no problem and I was treated just like everyone else there. No issues. It's well worth coming."

The chef/master often appears to be arguing with his spouse, who helps run the place, which creates a tense and uncomfortable environment. Additionally, the service is extremely slow—I waited over 30 minutes for a single plate of fried chicken. If you value efficient service and a pleasant dining experience, this may not be the place for you."
