Diners rave about the exceptional tempura and engaging, theatrical service that makes for a fun and memorable experience. While many praise the unique dishes like Wagyu tempura and matcha affogato, a few find the food comparable to fast food and mention issues with freshness or seasoning.
"Had the regular set menu here. Personally, not really a fan of tempura but everything here tasted amazing. The staff was also very accommodating and made the overall experience so much funner! If you’re in Kyoto, are a tempura fan, or just want to experience a fun omakase dinner, then I definitely recommend this place!"

"I think the restaurant is definitely designed to cater towards tourists, and leans into the fact that visitors would pay a little more for table side performances and IG friendly presentations. The overall experience was fun and i do think a lot of people would enjoy it, and certainly the visitors beside me had a blast with the staffs’ performances.
However, when you scrutinize the food a bit closely, you would notice a few things like the chicken was over-seasoned. One of the beef tempura was a bit wet and batter didn’t hold onto the meat.
I would say fun to go once with friends. Not expensive for some of the ingredients used, and some of the cost is going into the experience instead of food, which maybe what you are looking for."

"A Tempura Experience to Remember 🍤🔥
If you're looking for a dining experience that blends incredible food, warm hospitality, and a touch of entertainment, this tempura restaurant in Japan is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel completely at home.
The highlight? The food, of course. Every dish was a masterpiece, but the tempura shrimp was simply divine—light and bursting with flavor. And the wagyu? Melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Rich, tender, and cooked to absolute precision.
The restaurant features a fun little show that adds a playful twist. It’s just enough to make you smile and feel like you’re part of something special."
