This cozy eatery near Nagasaki Station is lauded for its authentic and generous portions of local specialties like champon and sara udon. Diners frequently praise the delicious flavors and reasonable prices. However, be prepared for potentially long wait times during peak hours, and some reviews note a lack of distinct flavor in certain dishes.
"The wait was incredibly long, but this is an amazing local gem with fantastic food. The Nagasaki Udon (짬뽕) was delicious, but the standout for me was the Sara Udon—it was absolutely incredible. Personally, I also really enjoyed the fried rice and Yakisoba. While I’m not a fan of waiting, this place was definitely worth the wait!"

"If you're staying near Nagasaki JR station, hop over the foot bridges and try this place out for Nagasaki's famous Champon or Sara Udon. I opted for the Sara Udon but don't let the name deceive you, it's actually crispy fried egg noodles not Udon! Opt for the thin noodles and wait for the magic to arrive. It doesn't look like much, in fact, it's a rather unappealing looking dish - gooey mess atop a bed of noodles. Get over the look and you'll find crispy egg noodles, perfectly fried and not too oily combined with vegetables, seafood and meat in a delicious gravy which is classic Chinese style cooking you might find in Hong Kong. I didn't need to add any sauce or seasonings as it was perfectly balanced.
I also ordered a side of gyoza which were not the best I've ever had but the whole point of the visit was to try Sara Udon.
The interior appears straight from last century and has a homey diner feel about it."
